Lightly oiled and polished surface
This a smooth full grain leather with a buttery soft feel. A lightly oiled and polished surface enhances the tight grain texture. This leather will burnish with wear and develop a beautiful patina over time, further revealing the individual character of each hide.
The colour is a reddish chestnut brown, deepened and enriched by the surface treatment. The swatch image shown here is closest to its colours, the product images (Ally Capellino’s “Bobby” bag) is a slightly darker version of this style, shown in the thinner weight of 1.4mm which is available by request.

Light non-plastic surface coating
A smooth full-grain leather with a full body and medium soft temper. The surface has a light non-plastic coating which provides some protection. The leather will burnish with wear and develop a beautiful patina over time, further revealing the individual character of each hide.

A tumbled full-grain leather that celebrates the natural character of the cattle hide. The pebbled grain texture varies across different areas of bend, shoulder and belly (see further information below). The surface has a light non-plastic coating which provides some protection. Suede, medium firm temper
Buffed and uncoated
Our distinctive suede is made from the flesh-side “splits” that are generated during our full grain leather production, because our hides are sufficiently thick to get two layers from each hide. Producing suede ensures we fully utilise each hide, and the result is a wonderfully robust and unique suede.
