Service For Farms

Leather begins on the farm. Our production system enables farmers to realise the full value of their cattle hides, transforming them into a material that carries the story of their land and livestock. The resulting leather is beautifully versatile, suited to bags and footwear to upholstery and more.

We have produced leather for numerous UK farms and estates, including Daylesford and Bamford, Parnassus Leather, Balcaskie Estate, Rumming’s Beef, and a growing group of farmers. They in turn have used the finished leather for projects ranging from pub upholstery to accessories.

How it works:

This programme runs at designated times of the year. Fill in the contact form below and receive further information on how to join.

  • We’ll share directions for collecting, salting, storing, stamping and delivering your hides to us.

  • Along with a number of other farm hides, they will go into processing at the traditional vegetable tannery in Bristol, with whom we work on all our production.

  • Once tanned, they will be relocated to a finishing facility in Northamptonshire, where dying and finishing takes place.

  • We will deliver finished leather back to you!

  • "British Pasture Leather has been so important to the development of Parnassus Leather – without their support we would never have started processing our hides, let alone others from the Lake District. The quality of the leather is a testament to the care that goes into its production, making it a beautiful material to work with."
