Leather from farms that enliven landscapes
Our work is inspired by a belief that regenerative agriculture is a critical solution in renewing soils, stewarding ecosystems, and reforming food and fashion systems.
We produce leather with a sense of place.
Britain’s landscape is well-suited to raising cattle entirely on their natural diet of pasture, and the grazing of cattle on pasture results in positive impacts such as increased biodiversity, soil health, resilient ecosystems, animal welfare, farmer wellbeing, wildlife habitat and nutritious food.
Since our start, we have partnered with Pasture for Life, a farmer-led organisation that “champions the restorative power of grazing animals on pasture.”

Faces and places behind British Pasture Leather
The hides that become British Pasture Leather currently come from two regions of the UK, the South East and South West. We work with rural abattoirs in these regions that serve farms certified by Pasture for Life. These abattoirs are vital to the viability of local, sustainable food production, and we endeavour to play a role in sustaining them.

Field Days with British Pasture Leather
Out of the office and into the field. This experiential program is intended to activate all the senses, to provoke curiosity, and to inspire support for regenerative supply chains in the UK.
Our Field Days for design and fashion professionals will change the way you look at leather by putting it in the context of positive local food and farming systems. Following the successes of our Field Days held in 2023 and 2024 we will be announcing more events in the coming year.
